My son bought a used mini bike (Pocket Rocket?) That ran when he arrived last week, but now will not start. No spark, but replaced the plug anyway, was black. We buy high octane fuel, exhausted through the other screw on the bottom of the raft, and put fresh gas in w, the right mixture of oil and some stabilizer. Still will not start, except for an occasional backfire through the exhaust. We have removed the wheel and not see the time settings. It has a Magnit, are these adjustable? I am ready to pull the carbs, but you want to check the calendar or diagnosis first a bad review if that's all. Thank you,
Do not tell me what kind of motor you have, but if you have a float bowl, I have to assume it is a small 4-cycle engine .. If you have spark, compression, and is getting fuel, you should run .. In the old days, if a flywheel key was cut, or semi-cut, the spark was away ... not so now .. This is more or less at the moment of ignition comes from ..
