not start its a TM 250 that crosses your carb can anyone help with this?
I do not know your bike, but it may provide some general ideas. First I will try replacing the spark plugs - often the problem. If you have to clean the carburetor, it is not too difficult. Buy a new set of boards of carbohydrates (your dealer can get the full set if you tell the model year - while you are there get the service manual for your bike too. This will help to re-mount). And get this material: Gunk carburetor and parts cleaner (I think I got in Advance Auto Parts). It comes in a can of paint and has a basket inside. Drain the carb (to turn off the fuel valve and drain the gas lines first) and remove carbohydrates and clean each piece by immersion cleaner. Follow the directions on the can. Re-assemble using all new seals and reinstall. Even if it was not what I needed, is good for your bike. Good luck and happy riding!
