How can I attract visitors to my site?
I'm throwing my first local website (4 counties) enthuasists surf. Like everyone, I'm on a tight budget. QUESTION: How can I attract surfers to my site without spending a lot of cash? (I thought of stickers have done and their distribution free surf shops for gifts, bumper stickers and brochures). Thanks in advance. You are great! Thanks for the amazing ideas and links.
1. Find where surfers hang out online now (blogs, sites, message boards), and go there to promote your site. If there is an online surfing community begins to participate and support other sites and that in turn, is likely to support you. Any large and popular site that link to you is a great opportunity. In my experience, community Surf is really very close to what you have to make sure that you get involved before going overboard in promoting your website. 2. Promote the heck out of him at every opportunity with their current circle. E-mail to everyone you know, even casual acquaintances and get to visit the site. Make sure your friends are surfers who go religiously. 3. Generating content for the site that people are excited. Do not pack things well until your site is very popular. It must be a reason for people to visit. 4. Do not be discouraged. Can be very difficult, but you have to really grind and hustle to make it work. Fortunately, these suggestions should be free, which can free up some of its budget for other pathways. Send me an email and send me the URL of your site.
