Carrying a Longboard in a 2dr Civic?
Hello everyone, I recently returned back into the surf ... I have 9.4 'Longboard and have depended on my friends tranport truck and the beach. Id like to go only when I feel like ... but the problem is that my car is 98 Honda Civic 2-door coupe. Is it possible / safe to carry a council of this size in the car so small? Id like to get some good soft racks, but if Im going to have to worry about the advice, my car, or other cars around me id rather not risk it. serious thoughts and suggestions are appreciated! Thank you! I should mention that my budget is somewhat limited, the more racks probably will not be an option. That is unless you can find used and cheap!
Racks soft works well. Just make sure you are sufficient space for load balancing. Placing your order (s) upwards and forwards. You can always get a 1-Nice web belt load at Walmart and use that as "safe" (only wraps all the way around the ceiling and table). And do not go for land speed record with his record in the top of the coupe. I see lots of smaller cars than yours, with racks and soft longboards in breaking waves, so I'm sure he'll be fine.
