Can I replace Turtle Wax Surf Wax?
We're going on vacation soon, and I plan to go skimboarding. I have read they are supposed to put surf wax on the skimboard for better grip. I have surf wax, but I'm Turtle Wax, and wondered if the turtle wax could be replaced by Surf wax. Thank you for your help!
No! Surf wax costs $ 1. a bar at any surf shop. Surf wax is designed to make it stick, car wax is designed for cars to shine. Do not try to wax or ski, ski slippery ago (I know I tried once, 40 years ago and I had to clean out my surfboard, and ruined my session).
