Swimming with fins gives me a sharp stabbing pain in the leg ...?
I've been swimming for years, and have not had problems in training with fins (drills etc), however in recent months, I've found that whenever frontcrawl hard leg kick, especially if I'm wearing flippers or fins, I have a sharp pain up the leg and causes a severe stinging sensation behind one of my knees. It hurts so bad I have to stop and hold my leg (I can not move at all because the pain is so bad or out of the pool). It's terribly sore for about 10 seconds, then the pain gradually decreases. But it is a pain. I'm hesitant to see my doctor because the last time I had a go at me for going two times in 2 months: / Does anyone know what might have? I have a foot condition level, if that helps ...
You may have to adjust its shape. I know that when you walk and you take one step too large can hurt / hurting his thigh and hip. If you has a swimming coach to let them know the situation. It could be a way to adjust their shape a bit so that the pain does not happen.
