The foam in the form of Surfbase, want to prepare for painting.?
Hello, I have a bit of foam that is in the shape of a surfboard (which was more cheaper to get this from a real surfboard, and I would like to put paint on the wall as art, the foam has a few dents, one on behalf of the mark in relief on the front is not covered in any case, how do I prepare for the foam I have a smooth surface for painting (I use sand and putty?) And what type of paint will work best, and I varnish the finished product .. Thank you. The white foam like the foam used to package goods ..
You can use putty to cover the wall in the DINT, then 3 even layers of acrylic plaster. You can then paint with acrylic paint and seal with "Damier" varnish. I've done something similar (wall sculpture) and will give you great results.
