Is there any body knows of a good shop surfboard?
I live in Los Angeles, Winnetka, and I just got a surfboard, but Dosn't have a strap or wax or really any of that. I'm thinking about going to the beach tomorrow or Saturday. and the ID to be needed soon.
You can get wax and a leash in almost any surf shop in Los Angeles. There must be a surf shop. Everyone should take the points on a daily basis. If this is your first time to put wax on the table, make sure you buy the base coat and topcoat. You will want to spend some time in Nice a uniform layer of basecoat first. Completely cover the plate where the wax is applied (without holes). It will really make a difference. The base layer helps the wax stay on your board more time. It will not tangle as easily, and will not get all your board shorts. Then apply, probably Cool or cold water wax in circular motions. After a time (not to be taken as the base layer) that accumulate in the skin soon. Usually pulling my boards a few times a year and start over with completely new job wax. To keep things even and clean. I like Sticky Bumps, bus Sex Wax is also a popular brand. The strap, just make sure that is the right long. You do not want too long or too short. Bring your board with you and ask workers to find a good one for your board. Have fun surfing this weekend! And watch out for Labor Day crowds.
