Longboard Bamboo Wood

Longboarding Woodlake Session 1
What is the difference between the types of wood longboard / skateboard platform?
i am going to get a longboard soon and I've been trying to find a i like. I still see boards made of different woods (like maple, birch, bamboo etc) and would like to know the differences between the types of wood. and if you know, some information on fiberglass and carbon fiber panels that would be useful. thanks!
For the most beautiful temper-rigid type Wood does not matter, as long as the high quality wood does not crack and deposit their face on the asphalt. However, if the manufacturer is trying to do something fun as springboards Loaded with rolling, then the affairs of the wood. They use bamboo, because in general, is more flexible, and is lightweight but strong at the same time. (I say generally because Rayne makes ultra-rigid bamboo boards down) fiberglass and carbon fiber are usually added to enhance a deck and make it stiffer, usually for heavier riders or riders who need a rigid board (as descenders, who want their councils to be as predictable as possible. ie bouncy = bad, because you mislead people. Do not listen to the answering others.) To answer your question directly, the type of wood does not matter much. Baltic birch and maple are stiffer, but heavier. Bamboo is lighter, but usually flexible. Just make sure that the manufacturer is using wood high quality. Some well-known companies-so longboard Sector 9 (rigid general-purpose/cruising tables. Hard to go wrong, but they are better for the money), Landyachtz (Canadian company. Well known for its tables below), Rayne (down bamboo boards I mentioned earlier), Loaded (trampolines bamboo) and Earthwing (company more small but high quality, great Superglide is highly recommended for beginners). Here's a useful tutorial / basic guide to buying advice. I recommend spend the time to read all this, because their experience of first longboard can capture your heart or scare as far as possible to the sport: Skate http://www.silverfishlongboarding.com/forum/longboarding-resources-q/11015- longboard-buyers-guide-newbie-resource-guide-lt.html safely, and good luck!
