snowboard position question?
ok I am a girl of 13 and have been snowboarding for 6 seasons, about to be 7 and I was a regular at one position. ridiculous i along with surf skate. when I was buying my Burton Feelgood today asked me if I was stupid or clever. I know I said no more, both are uncomfortable. by what type wihtout pushed me know and I put my right foot first. saying I'm stupid now. But when I think in my mind that I'm going on a jump or a box that seems rather ridiculous weird right. Should I wait for the snow and see what feels right?
First of all, to "push" test is a load of bs if you do only once. I'm betting if they were pushed by surprise a couple of times, in a few days, you would sometimes go right foot and left foot at times. If someone always puts one foot over the other, then fine, you can usually determine whether they are goofy or regular that, but even then not 100%. You said the key - "When I think in my mind that I'm going on a jump or a box that seems rather strange right ridiculous "- be regular if it looks good. with more practice you can become good with both, but definitely, if you're hitting a function, you must go with what feels right to you. You may also want to consider a duck, leg posture; I started doing that a couple of years ago and now my switch riding is almost as good as my regular - it's good to be able to exchange it at will.
